Want to improve the appearance of fine facial lines and wrinkles? Perhaps you’re looking to add volume to certain areas of your face? Or maybe you have a little more chin than you’re comfortable with and would like to get rid of it? Then cosmetic injectables may be the solution you’ve been searching for.

At Arijai Aesthetics, we specialize in several cosmetic injectables, including Botox, Dysport, Sculptra, Kybella, and various dermal fillers.

If you’re thinking about getting injectables but don’t know much about them, read on to learn about what we offer and what these products can do.

1. Botox/Dysport

Both Botox and Dysport contain botulinum toxin type A, which is a neurotoxin that prevents the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

This neurotransmitter is what allows your facial muscles to contract. When your facial muscles repeatedly contract into the same positions, your skin will develop fine lines and wrinkles in those areas over time.

Botox or Dysport can be used to minimize the appearance of existing fine lines and wrinkles and can also be used as a preventative measure to stop lines from forming.

2. Kybella

Kybella is specifically designed to improve the appearance of excess submental adipose tissue which is the fat tissue located beneath your chin.

This product can also be used off-label to dissolve pockets of undesirable fat tissue in other areas of the body, such as the back of the arms, love handles, and saddlebags. However, not all providers administer Kybella for off-label uses.

For the full rundown on how this highly effective, fat-dissolving injectable works, check out Is Kybella Right for You? Here’s What You Need to Know.

3. Sculptra

Sculptra is a unique, collagen-stimulating cosmetic injectable that contains poly-L-lactic acid as its active ingredient. This product is a dermal filler, but unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers (which are hugely popular), it provides much more long-lasting results.

Because Sculptra helps your skin produce more of the structural proteins that give the appearance of a voluminous, smooth, youthful complexion, results can easily last two years.

Like Kybella, Sculptra can also be used off-label for cellulite reduction in various areas of the body, but not all providers offer this service.

4. Hyaluronic Acid-Based Dermal Fillers

At Arijai, we offer several types of HA fillers, including:

  • Volbella, Vollure, and Voluma
  • Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus
  • Restylane, Restylane Refine, Restylane Defyne, and Restylane Lift

All of these products contain hyaluronic acid — which is a hydrophilic (water-attracting) substance — as their active ingredient. HA adds volume to the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by attracting and retaining water, which gives the skin a plumper, more defined, more youthful appearance.

HA-based fillers can be used to contour specific areas of the face, improve the structure of the nose, fill in lines and wrinkles, and plump the lips.
